A very small example of my work as a coder.
Working with industries gives you a lot of insights into how things get created on a big scale. Especially as a coder, you learn how to manage protocols. Protocols act as workhorses for technical standards allowing them to be applied worldwidely. In my collaboration with Kürschner Stahlbau -an enterprise in the steel construction sector- I dealt with one of those standards and managed to optimise the work and dataflows of the enterprise by writing an interface for the service desk, which directly generates machine-readable data out of incoming customers’ orders. These data will be read by high-scale industrial machines, especially steel cutters. Now, just with a click, they can produce the pieces the customers ordered some seconds ago.
